Anthony Road - Unoaked Chardonnay - Finger Lakes 2022 (750ml)

While the Finger Lakes are well known for German varieties such as Riesling and Gewurztraminer, they also offer a number of international varieties. Here, Chardonnay shows its pure-fruited side, especially when treated without any oak in the hands of Anthony Road. While the grape's inherent ripe stone fruit character does lend some good body, vinification and aging without the influence of oak allows that purity to shine. Zestier and brighter on the palate than oaked examples with refreshing mineral character, this bottling demonstrates the clarity of cool climate Chardonnay.
