Made from a bill of 60% corn, 20% wheat, 9% rye and 11% barley, all grown in upstate New York, Black Button's Four Grain Bourbon offers a balanced whiskey with a the middle-of-the-road profile. Bright on the nose with singed orange, brown sugar, and lemon peel. The palate begins with a bite, and builds into its flavors of licorice, burnt marshmallow, black pepper, and bit of oak. Delicious neat if you like a bit of a kick, and equally delicious in a Manhattan or New York Sour.
