Forthave Spirits -Nocino Black Liqueur (375ml)

Celebrated local distillers Forthave here offer one of their smallest-production, sought-out bottlings of Nocino, a traditional Italian black walnut liqueur. Ever champions of local proucts, Forthave sources their black walnuts from the Hudson Valley. In order to create a more complex, yet elegant take on the liqueur, they begin by macerating in nine-month phases (up to triple the usual duration), and create a portion of black walnut eau de vie that is also incorporated into the final product. Despite this, the result is lower proof and lower in sugar than the broad majority of its counterparts. With layered aromas of baking spice, molasses, and rich walnut cake, and a long, just-sweet-enough finish, this is one way to make your winter very special.
