Nobushi Japanese Whisky (750 ml)

If you're looking for something different in the category of Japanese whiskeys - you've found it! Made from from Miyagi, Nagano, and Hokkaido prefecture whiskeys, the final blend spends 3-4 years in American oak. The spirit is named for the Nobushi, an elite order of feudal-era warriors descended from Samurai, charged with preserving their teachings through the generations. Big caramel and toffee aromas carry some summer peach and yellow plum with a touch of spice;  those sweet spices carry onto the palate, rich with caramel, honey, and vanilla. A luscious base for an Old Fashioned or Boulevardier, though it does just fine as a solo sipper neat!
