Craigellachie Single Malt 13 Yr Scotch (750ml)

The Craigellachie distillery dates back to 1891 in Speyside, yet they produce a style of single-malt that is staunchly individual and non-conforming to the Speyside profile. Aromas burst from the glass: mango, pineapple, and guava, followed by barbecue-pit smoke, toasted sugar, and just a touch of spice. It makes itself known on the palate with big body, an echo of the nose's ripe fruits, still lent complexity by a touch of smokey spice and savor. Enjoy it as an immensely satisfying sipper neat or on the rocks, or make a full-throttle Penicillin (cut back on the sugar a touch) or Old Fashioned.
