Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky (750ml)

This grain whiskey from Nikka uses Coffey continuous stills which, while perhaps less efficient, maintain greater grain character and texture in the final product. Plenty of cornbread aromas are layered with honey-roasted cashew, caramel, and chamomile. Sweet cantaloupe and peach begin the palate, accompanied by candied citrus peel, warm honeyed biscuits, and a soft, sweet smoke note. Sweet corn returns in the finish. A delicious sipper on its own, it also makes a lovely Vieux Carré, Perfect Manhattan, or Highball (especially if made with half soda and half tonic).
